Canard et Fleur

Oh my god.. So cute baby duck. This little duck is very innocent and this duck in the white sunflower garden.Nice matching. There is pretty sunflowers.

We ordered Rosetta Stone…and we love it!  I was a bit hesitant.  Having learned Spanish in school (8th-12th grade), I was skeptical of the method that Rosetta Stone uses.  It took me four years and a few trips to Argentina to become fluent, well nearly, in Spanish.

French is coming along very nicely!  My wife and I speak in French to each other whenever we can.  “Je veux manger.  Voulez-vous manger avec moi?”  And then we go eat!  Every morning, well almost every morning, we get up and do our French lessons.  One of us sits in the study, head-set on, and go through the lessons for about 45 minutes.  Then we switch.  Then we go about our day, trying to speak what we learned that day and the previous days to each other. It’s fun!

It’s quite nice using “bonjour” and “au revoir.”  I call my wife mon petit fleur and I am her petit canard.

If you are thinking of learning a new language, and, in today’s world, I think everyone should, use Rosetta Stone!  It is well worth the price and it makes learning fun.  You’re learning without really even noticing it.

Mon petit fleur is in Virginia for a few days, and since we use the same computer, I had to start all over on my own laptop.  It can’t hurt to do the lessons twice!  I am super excited to conquer this new language, and even more excited to go to France for an extended stay and speak their native tongue.
